The accommodation

This is what it's like here.

Flora-Marie stands a few steps along a gravel path behind the house, surrounded by beds, rose arches and places to sit. Inside: a green and white striped headboard, a pull-out bed of eighty by two hundred centimetres, one hundred and sixty by two hundred when pulled out, curtains, a small desk, wood panelling. It is the hut for people who want the shepherd's hut feeling but like to walk into a tiled bathroom in the morning - or into the garden shower, the single most praised thing about the whole place in the reviews.

Heating is by an electric oil radiator, and in the cupboard recess there is a basin with a kettle. The hut has no fixed water connection: fresh water comes from canisters, two of twenty litres, refilled as soon as they are empty. Cooking, showering and using the toilet happen in the house, shared with the other guests. The garden is open to you, with all its seats, hammocks and loungers, and in front of the hut its own seating area, screened with pallet wood.

Good to know

The Wi-Fi reaches the hut, but not reliably; Flora-Marie is not suitable for video calls. For working there are several places to sit by the house.

Bathroom, toilet and kitchen are shared with other guests. The basin in the hut is no substitute for a bathroom.

Smoking is allowed on the grounds; events are not permitted.

Pets are welcome. There is an extra 9,00 € per animal per night, which covers the additional cleaning. Please say in your enquiry which animal is coming.

If your dog is allowed on the bed: please bring your own blanket or throw. It costs you nothing and us no bed linen.

During the harvest the offer applies here as everywhere: help out for three to four hours picking and sorting, and get one night free. Just mention it in your enquiry.

To do the maths: two people, five nights. (36,00 € + 24,00 €) × 5 nights = 300,00 €, plus a one-off 15,00 € for final cleaning. Total 315,00 €.

The longer you stay, the cheaper the night gets. The scale above applies to the first person; each additional person costs 24,00 € per night. The final cleaning is charged once, regardless of how long you stay. We will set out the full total for you in the reply to your enquiry, before anything becomes binding.
