The accommodation

This is what it's like here.

Horst stands 1.5 kilometres outside the village in a secluded setting, in the middle of the herb field, looking out over the gently rolling countryside of the Enzkreis, the gateway to the Black Forest: ridges, woodland edges, fields, green to the horizon. A strip of windows runs along the whole long side, with a continuous worktop beneath it - the best breakfast table this place has to offer, and the only desk with this view.

Inside: a wooden ceiling, a yellow cupboard, a yellow armchair with a footstool, a pull-out bed under the window, eighty by two hundred centimetres, one hundred and sixty by two hundred when pulled out. Heating is by a cream-coloured wood stove, cooking is on gas, washing up in its own sink. The hut is fully insulated and can be heated right through, which is why it is the only one of the two field huts bookable all year, even when the field lies under snow. Hot water is available in the shower right next to it, made by a gas water heater. In front of the hut, its own outdoor seating, plus a barbecue and a table tennis table.

The big brother of Natur Pur / No. 7; the two huts stand about twenty metres apart and are let independently of each other. If you want a secluded setting without cold showers, book this one.

Good to know

Horst is let from two nights upwards. A single night is not possible here.

A secluded setting means: no neighbours, no shop, no Wi-Fi. You do your shopping in the village, 1.5 kilometres away.

The toilet is a composting toilet and stands a few steps from the hut out in the field. You can shower inside the hut, with hot water.

The wood stove needs handling; Michael shows you how when you arrive.

Horst is fully insulated and can be heated throughout. It can be booked all year round, even in midwinter, when the field lies under snow.

Picking in the field is allowed during the growing season, in small amounts for your own use.

Pets are welcome. There is an extra 9,00 € per animal per night, which covers the additional cleaning. Please say in your enquiry which animal is coming.

If your dog is allowed on the bed: please bring your own blanket or throw. It costs you nothing and us no bed linen.

During the harvest the offer applies here as everywhere: help out for three to four hours picking and sorting, and get one night free. Just mention it in your enquiry.

To do the maths: two people, five nights. (50,00 € + 34,00 €) × 5 nights = 420,00 €, plus a one-off 25,00 € for final cleaning. Total 445,00 €.

The longer you stay, the cheaper the night gets. The scale above applies to the first person; each additional person costs 34,00 € per night. The final cleaning is charged once, regardless of how long you stay. We will set out the full total for you in the reply to your enquiry, before anything becomes binding.
